  • You will have to complete the given training material (formative Self-Assessment) in your own time. (Training material only valid for 3 months)

  • Once you are ready and you have completed your above mentioned “Formative Self-Assessment” open book exam and you feel comfortable with your newly acquired knowledge from the book, you will arrange a date to meet with me at the Shooting range in order to do your “Summative Assessment” closed book exam and the practical shooting.

  • Please bring 2 x Certified Copies of your ID on the day

  • Should you fail the closed book exam or practical Shoot, you will then get a second chance to rewrite        or reshoot. If you fail it twice, you will have to book a full paid course again.

  • If you are found to be competent, you will receive your proficiency certificate and PFTC Statement of results in  the next three to five business days.

  • Once you have your certificate, you can then use that proficiency certificate and PFTC Statement of results to apply for your competency at your nearest SAPS. (Can assist with this as well at an additional cost)
